Thomas C. Teeter, 75, of East Smithfield, PA, entered the arms of his Lord on December 20, 2010 at home with his wife by his side. He was born on January 12, 1935 in Sayre, PA., a son of the late Cecil and Jean (Houghton) Teeter. Tom married Audrey Casterline and together they filled their home with love and happiness. Tom loved being outside and would spend hours walking his dog Buffy. Tom also enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching sports. Tom worked at Ingersoll Rand as a Machinist for 26 years.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents: Cecil and Jean (Houghton) Teeter; Sisters: Charlotte Walters and Patricia Sloat.
Tom is survived by his wife Audrey (Casterline) Teeter at home, sons and daughters-in- law: William and Cathleen Teeter of Waverly, Thomas E. and Lisa Teeter of Athens; daughter: Jeanne Lee of Elmira, NY. Stepchildren: Jon Dribnack of Great Bend Pa. and Carol Seeley of Englewood, OH. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other special friends' relatives and neighbors also survive.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the Sayre Christian Church at 2:00PM with Rev James Donahoo officiating. A period of visitation will take place at 1:00PM until the start of the service. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in the Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
St Jude's Hospital was one of Tom's favorite charities and in lieu of flowers one may donate to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis TN 18101-9950 in loving memory of Tom.
